First, measure the actual location to ensure the appliance fits in the space available. You can find the appliance’s overall dimensions along with air clearance and cut-out dimensions in the product specifications, as well as the Installation Instructions.
As you're shopping for a new appliance, be sure to consider whether the appliance will fit into your space. You may determine the appliance will fit the space you currently have; however, measuring height, depth and width are just the beginning.
You should also consider these measurements: Door opening space, the hinge side door space, ventilation space, cleaning space, and even getting the appliance through doorways and hallways in the house.
Second, make sure your appliance can fit through the house to its final location. Clear all obstructions from entry to the location where the appliance(s) will be located.
